As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I specialize in working with people who are struggling with shame. Most individuals aren’t aware that shame is at the core of their struggles. Shame expresses itself in many different forms. Here are just some of them:

  • Addiction
  • Painful relationships fraught with anger, resentment, and blame
  • The feeling that no matter how hard you try, you’re not enough
  • Lack of productivity and focus
  • Lack of passion…you’re just getting by
  • Disconnect from your sexual self

I am passionate about helping people gain a better understanding of themselves and the role that shame plays in their lives to create pain and confusion.  I can help you develop a plan of recovery that works and will lead you to freedom from the bondage of shame.  In conjunction with addressing the underlying shame, we are able to address the presenting problem or struggle that has brought you to counseling.
